The entire Frontiers Paragliding team took some time out recently to go rafting on the Upper Seti river with Paddle Nepal. We had a great day on the river, which after a glacial breach in the summer of 2012 and the resulting flash flood, is a more demanding and technical stretch to run. Thakur, our trusted driver, ensured that he wasn't going to get cold by warmning his cockles with a bottle of Nepali rum before the put-in. For the office girls, it was their first foray into the wet stuff.

Two of our regular pilots, Graham Saunders & Brad Sander, have been busy researching flying opportunities in Thailand since January, and the reports so far look very interesting indeed. Many pilots have previously sought to develop paragliding in Thailand, but the topography and general lack of access to launch sites has been a major issue. Not a problem for these guys, as they have been towing up to over 900m from a boat along the beautiful coastline of Prachuap Khiri Khan in the Gulf, and enjoying some consistently good flying here. You can check out their progress on Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/ThailandParagliding?ref=hl.
Expect to hear more news on this soon as these experienced pilots are opening up a handful of incredible new flying sites. We plan to take advantage of their discoveries by offering a Thailand paragliding tour in 2014 - watch this space...
